In Case of Emergency: Add Emergency Contacts to Your Driver’s License Record

Did you know you can add emergency contact information to your driver’s license record?  You can add up to two people through a simple online process.  When you add contacts, you authorize the DMV to share the contacts with law enforcement and rescue personnel in the event of an emergency.

To add your contacts, go to Click on Driver/ID Services. Then, “Update Emergency Contacts” on the bottom right of the page, under Records.
